Account Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your Fusion Reader account. Fusion Reader is provided by FusionVerse Inc.

How to request account deletion

1. Open Fusion Reader and sign in to your account.
2. Open your account or profile page.
3. Scroll to the Account Actions section and select Delete Account.
4. Review the warning, then select Delete Permanently to confirm.

If you cannot sign in, emailprivacy@fusionverse.app from the email address associated with your account. Include “Fusion Reader account deletion request” in the subject line. We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership before processing the request.

Delete individual data without deleting your account

You can delete an uploaded book or its generated Data Indexing results without deleting your Fusion Reader account or other books.

1. Open the book's details screen.
2. Open the delete menu and choose Remove from Cloud Only to delete that book's cloud copy.
3. To remove only the generated index, open AI Index Options and chooseDelete AI Index.

Removing a book from the cloud does not delete your account, other books, or the local copy on your device. You can also open Manage Storage from your account page to select and delete individual uploaded files.

Data deleted

After you confirm deletion, we delete the following data associated with your account from FusionVerse service systems:

• Your Fusion Reader account and account profile;
• Cloud-stored books, documents, covers, and other uploaded files;
• Library metadata, reading progress, highlights, notes, bookmarks, and synced settings;
• Data Indexing files and derived indexes, including summaries, entities, story arcs, and foreshadowing threads;
• Shared links and indexing job records associated with your account.

Data that may remain

• Books, notes, or other files stored only on your device are not remotely removable by us. Delete those local files from the app or your device if you want them removed as well.
• Limited security, fraud-prevention, or deletion-request records may remain for up to 30 days while routine logs and backups rotate. They are not used to restore your account.
• Transaction records that we are legally required to keep may be retained for the period required by applicable law. Purchase records held by Google Play or other payment providers are subject to their own retention policies.

Deletion timing

Cloud account data and uploaded files are deleted when the request is successfully processed. The limited records described above are deleted when their applicable retention period ends. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
