Writing Fun
Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how FusionVerse Inc. (“FusionVerse Inc.”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when a child uses Writing Fun (the “Service”) under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian (“Guardian”).
1. Guardian Consent
Writing Fun is designed to be set up and supervised by a Guardian. A Guardian must create and manage the account on behalf of a child, and by doing so, consents to this Privacy Policy on the child’s behalf.
2. Information We Collect
- Guardian account information: the Guardian’s email address and authentication details.
- Child profile information: a first name or nickname and grade level, as provided by the Guardian. We do not require a child’s full name, address, or other precise identifying information.
- Writing content: the text a child writes during practice sessions, along with associated AI feedback and progress data.
- Usage data: session activity and feature usage needed to track learning progress and improve the Service.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide age-appropriate writing prompts and AI-guided feedback;
- Let Guardians review a child’s progress and writing history;
- Maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the Service;
- Communicate with the Guardian about the account and the Service.
We do not use a child’s information for behavioral advertising.
4. AI Processing and Third-Party Providers
To generate writing feedback, a child’s writing is sent to our AI infrastructure — which may include third-party AI model providers acting on our behalf — solely to produce that feedback. We do not permit these providers to use a child’s content to train their models, and we do not knowingly share a child’s information for marketing purposes.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell children’s personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service, when required by law, or to protect the safety of a child, our users, or the public.
6. Guardian Access and Controls
A Guardian may review, update, export, or delete the information associated with a child’s account at any time, and may revoke consent by deleting the account, by contacting us using the details below.
7. Data Retention
We retain a child’s information only for as long as the account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and delete it upon a verified request from the Guardian.
8. Data Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures designed to protect children’s information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify the Guardian of material changes by updating the effective date above or through other appropriate means.
10. Contact Us
If you are a Guardian with questions about this Privacy Policy or wish to review, update, or delete your child’s information, contact us atprivacy@fusionverse.app.
